Job summary
Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Practice Lead - Power Sector to lead and grow a national team delivering air quality modeling, permitting, site assessment, and related environmental services for power and data center projects.
The role combines technical leadership with business development, client management, and coordination with civil and geotechnical teams to expand services, improve project delivery, and drive profitability across the firm's energy
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in environmental industry with 5+ years in power sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Science; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional credentials (PE, CHMM, PG) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and build a team delivering air quality modeling, permitting, and site assessments for power projects.
- Drive market strategy, growth, and client relationships in power and data center sectors.
- Ensure high quality work products, staff development, and project profitability.
- Collaborate with cross‑discipline teams to integrate environmental services with civil and geotechnical capabilities.
