Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Practice Lead - Power Sector to lead a national environmental compliance team. You will guide air quality modeling, permitting, site assessment, remediation, and due diligence for power and data-center projects, interfacing with civil and geotechnical capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in environmental fields, 5+ years in power, with a bachelor’s in a relevant field; master’s and professional credentials are

Qualifications

• 15+ years in environmental field with 5+ years in power sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Science; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certifications/credentials preferred (PE, CHMM, PG).
• Excellent public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong people, project, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of environmental consultants in the power sector.
• Oversee work product quality, growth, and profitability.
• Develop growth plans with Data Centers and Environmental leadership.
• Identify technical and geographic growth areas and trends.
• Provide oversight of junior staff and participate in hiring.
