Langan is seeking an Environmental Practice Lead – Power Sector to build and lead a national team delivering air quality, permitting, site assessment, remediation, and related services for power and data center clients.

The ideal candidate holds 15+ years in environmental work with 5+ years in power, and has a strong track record in leadership, client management, and strategic growth within this market.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in environmental industry with 5+ years in power sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Science; Master’s preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PE, CHMM, or PG are a plus.
• Strong people, project, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an existing team delivering air quality modeling, permitting, site assessment, remediation, and due diligence.
• Develop power sector market strategy and materials; ensure quality, growth, and profitability.
• Oversee staff, coach juniors, manage projects, and hire where needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑discipline teams and business development to win new clients.
