Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a supervisor to coordinate kiln, boiler and turbine operations, ensuring safe production goals. You will lead shift crews, monitor DCS, perform inspections, and respond to emergencies while maintaining compliance with permits and SOPs.

The role requires experience in power/incineration environments, supervisory ability, and a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College level courses or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 7–10 years experience in the power industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts start of shift toolbox meeting discussing safety concerns, planned activity, and future events.
• Coordinates daily activities of operating and production personnel.
• Maintains accurate shift activity log including production, power, breakdowns and repairs.
• Monitor and control boiler, steam turbine generator operation and air pollution control equipment.
• Lead incident investigations and document summary of incident details.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
