Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee safe, efficient operations of the facility on a rotating 12-hour shift. You will monitor boilers, turbine and steam plant, and direct the work of personnel while adhering to environmental permits and safety regulations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role requires hands-on boiler experience and a proactive leader who can coordinate emergencies, maintenance, and ongoing checks to ensure reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure boilers and electrical generation; formal technical training required.
• Must obtain and maintain ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Keep the plant within environmental limits and permits.
• Respond to injuries or accidents.
• Direct shift, daily, weekly and monthly checks.
• Approve removal of equipment from service for maintenance with proper tagging and safety permits.
• Troubleshoot plant operational issues and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Train and manage a motivated, cross-trained workforce.
