Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a dedicated shift supervisor to manage daily plant operations, supervise operators, and coordinate with interdepartmental teams for safe, reliable performance.

You will enforce safety rules, monitor permits, track work orders in CMMS, and ensure training for operator promotion. Rotating shifts, physical demands, and OSHA/compliance are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Seven years of related experience in utility or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of high pressure boiler operation and turbine systems.
• Ability to read gauges, analyze data and maintain records.
• Ability to supervise shift employees and prepare permits and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations and direct assigned personnel.
• Ensure safe, compliant plant operation per OSHA and environmental permits.
• Track, prioritize and approve work orders in CMMS.
• Coach staff to improve technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Lead preventive maintenance and interface with cross-functional teams.
