Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or an applicable related field required.
• Five years' recent power station experience required.
• Three years as a power station operator with supervisory preference.

Responsibilities

• Directs ongoing operations of power stations.
• Supervises operating and maintenance crews and trains staff.
• Ensures real-time compliance with applicable regulations (FERC, NERC, SPP).
• Implements operating programs and recommends improvements.
• Analyzes unit performance and devises action plans for load management and compliance.
• Coordinates load requirements with system dispatcher and SPP.
• Inspects station equipment and oversees maintenance.
