Job summary

NAES Corporation seeks an Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Technician for Sandy Creek Energy Station near Riesel, Texas. The role maintains, calibrates, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs instrumentation, control systems and electrical equipment to support safe, reliable plant operations.

The technician will work with PLC, DCS and SCADA systems, assist with outages and projects, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience with plant electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA and boiler controls.
• Hands-on installing, calibrating, testing and troubleshooting electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, test, troubleshoot, repair and install plant instrumentation and field devices.
• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on electrical systems up to 13.8 kV.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, and related automation systems.
• Support boiler, turbine, environmental control systems and burner management.
• Assist with outages, commissioning, and capital projects as needed.
