Job summary

Energy Transfer LP in Texas seeks an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to support construction, plant facilities and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems, natural gas compression or pump stations, SCADA, and related equipment within gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
Experience troubleshooting, designing, or configuring control solutions.
Knowledge of DOT 192/193/195 and OSHA 1910 relevant to electrical systems.
Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor equipment.
Maintain pneumatic and intelligent instruments, electrical distribution, motor control gear, and related software.
Read manuals, drawings, and schematics including P&IDs and electrical diagrams.
Test and calibrate safety devices per DOT/PSM requirements and keep maintenance schedules.
Participate in call-out/on-call and support safety programs.
