Job summary

NAES Corporation seeks an O&M/EC&I Technician at Tejas Energy Center in Houston, TX. The role combines plant operations with electrical, controls, and instrumentation maintenance across LM6000 PC units and a Siemens 501 D5 turbine.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and maintain electrical systems from 24V to 480V, interpret PLCs and control logic, and support turbine controls upgrades while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with power generation or industrial plant equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V.
• Familiarity with turbine controls and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems, including LM6000 PC and Siemens 501 D5 units.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Inspect, test, repair, and replace motors, transformers, and MCCs.
• Interpret P&IDs, schematics, and control logic for troubleshooting.
• Maintain logs and coordinate spare-parts for maintenance activities.
