Job summary

EthosEnergy Group is seeking an Operations and Maintenance IC&E technician for Mountain Creek Energy Center in Dallas, TX. The role installs, troubleshoots, and repairs instrumentation, controls, computers, and electrical systems of a 600MW gas-fired facility.

You will diagnose and repair PLCs, transmitters, and control systems, perform preventative maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and support CMMS data entry and outage planning.

Qualifications

• DCS experience required.
• Minimum 10 years in power plants.
• 2+ years in an industrial environment.
• 5+ years electrical/instrumentation in industrial settings.
• Experience with ABB DCS, GE MKV/MKVI, or Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Experience with Maximo CMMS.
• Journeyman level knowledge in Electrical/Instrumentation.
• DCS to I/O to field device troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs instrument and control system malfunctions.
• Installs new electrical equipment as required.
• Uses electrical test equipment and related tools.
• Performs preventive or corrective maintenance and writes work orders.
• Coordinates with outside contractors and manages work scopes.
• Maintains 480V/high voltage switchgear and transformers.
• Reads meters and records operating data for trend analysis.
• Supports CMMS data entry and work order close-out.
• Outage planning support and routine calibrations.
