Job summary

NAES near Pleasant Hill, MO, seeks an IC&E Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment for safe, reliable power generation. The role includes testing, calibration, installation, and documentation, with emphasis on safety and NERC compliance.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work with contractors and OEM personnel, participate in call-out response, and support environmental programs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting IC&E in power generation.
• Experience with DCS/PLC and turbine control systems.
• Knowledge of NERC compliance and annual training.
• Ability to work independently or on a team with strong communications.
• Valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment.
• Inspect, repair, and install electrical components (12VAC to 4160VAC, DC up to 125V).
• Troubleshoot and recommission valves and instrumentation (temp/pressure/flow).
• Diagnose DCS/PLC/turbine control issues and support outages.
• Maintain equipment files and technical drawings.
