Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Morrisville, PA is seeking an Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and efficient operation of a 1200 MW combined cycle power plant. You will perform routine and emergency maintenance on instrumentation, control, electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures.

The role requires 4–6 years of industrial experience, high school diploma, and expertise with GE Mark VI

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial electrical equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• 4-6 years' experience in industrial environment required.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the use of proper procedures to clean electrical motors, make electrical connections, and PM inspections.
• General knowledge of station high voltage switching/relays equipment.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical repair and minor modification projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plant instrumentation, control, electrical and mechanical systems with minimum supervision.
• Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and resolution of system issues.
• Inspect, repair, install and remove motors, generators, transformers, switches, circuit breakers, and related equipment up to 4160 volts.
• Tune and calibrate boiler and turbine controls for safe operation.
• Maintain and calibrate plant instrumentation to provide reliable information to operations.
• Document and maintain maintenance history records.
• Maintain CEMS in accordance with compliance guidelines.
• Troubleshoot PLC, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
