Job summary

IC&E Tech in Camden, NJ is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Electrician to maintain plant instrumentation, troubleshoot, repair, install, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems across a 145MW natural gas-fired plant. The role requires 5 years in instrumentation and 5 years as an electrician with medium/high voltage components; reading P&IDs and installing conduits are essential.

Night shifts and travel may be required.

Qualifications

5+ years instrumentation experience in an industrial control environment; power generation preferred.
5+ years as an electrician in an industrial environment with medium/high voltage components; generation preferred.
Able to read Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

Proactively monitor and calibrate plant instrumentation; perform routine CMMS calibrations.
Document findings and pursue corrective actions; ensure safety leadership.
Troubleshoot and maintain control systems and electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic actuators.
Install conduits/wiring for instrumentation; perform valve testing/calibrations.
Maintain CEMs system and assist with regulatory reports.
Work in 24/7/365 environment; may require night shifts and travel.
