Job summary

IC&E Tech at a Camden, NJ power plant is responsible for maintaining plant instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters. The role requires troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of control systems in a 24/7 facility with safety as a priority.

Qualified candidates have 5 years of instrumentation experience and 5 years in industrial electrical work; experience with P&IDs and various DCS systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years instrumentation experience in an industrial control environment.
• 5 years’ experience as an electrician with medium and high voltage components.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and concepts.
• Technical degree or equivalent in electronics/industrial control preferred.
• Ability to read P&IDs and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate site instrumentation; perform calibrations.
• Document findings and pursue corrective actions.
• Maintain electrical and control systems across the plant.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate PLCs and instrumentation.
• Install and maintain instrumentation conduits and wiring.
• Assist with regulatory reports and CEMS-related tasks.
