Job summary

Vistra is seeking a skilled Power Plant Maintenance Technician (IC&E) in Morrisville, PA. You will work on instrumentation, controls and electrical systems for a 1200 MW combined cycle facility, ensuring safe operation and compliance with LOTO and other safety procedures.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, calibration of boiler and turbine controls, and maintenance of motors, transformers, switchgear, and PLC-based control systems.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in industrial environment.
• Experience with electrical/motor maintenance, wiring, and high voltage work.
• Basic instrumentation calibrations and control systems knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and P&IDs; strong safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plant instrumentation, control, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant instrumentation, control and electrical equipment.
• Calibrate boiler and turbine controls for safe, optimum performance.
• Maintain records of maintenance history and ensure compliance with safety programs.
• Respond to unit trips and abnormal conditions to keep equipment safe.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and service needs.
