Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC is seeking an Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Maintenance Technician for our Morrisville, PA facility. You will ensure safe operation and maintenance of the plant’s instrumentation, controls, electrical and mechanical systems, with emphasis on safety procedures and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 4–6 years of industrial experience, knowledge of high- and medium-voltage equipment, and hands-on troubleshooting across GE Mark VI, GE 7FA and

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years’ experience in industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial electrical equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• General knowledge of station high voltage switching and relaying equipment.
• Experience with instrumentation calibrations and PM inspections.
• Must be able to read P&ID drawings and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plant instrumentation, control, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control and electrical issues.
• Inspect, repair, install and remove motors, generators, transformers, switches, breakers, and MCC equipment up to 4160 V.
• Tune and calibrate boiler and turbine controls for safe, optimal performance.
• Maintain records of instrumentation, control, electrical and mechanical maintenance history.
• Maintain CEMS in compliance with regulations.
• Respond to unit trips and abnormal operating conditions.
