Job summary

Luminant Power LLC in Midlothian, Texas, is seeking an experienced electrical/IC maintenance professional to maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems at a combined cycle facility. You will handle testing, calibration, and repair tasks, while coordinating with vendors and ensuring safe practices.

The role requires strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, DCS/POSS/MASS familiarity, and the ability to read schematics and generate accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical skills with instrumentation/control and electrical systems.
• Experience with distributed control systems and power plant equipment.
• Knowledge of high, medium and low voltage electrical systems.
• Proficiency with CMMS software and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication, problem solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical equipment, test, repair and install plant systems.
• Perform HV/LV switching and grounding for plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and control loops and plant DCS.
• Document maintenance history and calibrations; read P&IDs.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and participate in out-of-area outages.
• Support safe work practices and plant operation activities.
