Clayton Services is seeking a Power Key Account Manager to drive business development and manage key customer relationships in the power generation industry. The role is based in Stafford, Texas, with a direct hire arrangement.

The candidate will develop opportunities, present technically compliant quotations, and collaborate with internal teams on pricing and market positioning. Regular client visits and CRM upkeep are essential aspects of the position.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5+ years outside sales in power/energy.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience selling to end users and EPC firms.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers in power generation.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with major end users and engineering firms.
• Promote products to expand market share in assigned territory.
• Collaborate on pricing, product mix, and market positioning.
• Review specifications to ensure accurate proposals.
• Prepare detailed, competitive quotations that are technically compliant.
• Respond to inquiries and clarify specs, quotes, and orders.
• Support order processing and address technical questions through sales cycles.
• Conduct in-person client visits to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Manage risks such as overdue payments and organizational changes.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly sales reports and track pipeline and trends.
• Maintain CRM records and participate in trade shows and training initiatives.
• Stay current on industry trends and product developments.
