Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Rep for its Power and HVAC division in Hopewell, VA. You will be the first contact for customers, selling specialty engineered power supply and climate control solutions such as silenced diesel generators and air-conditioning equipment.

You’ll grow branch revenue through consultative selling, present turnkey services, size and quote projects, and work with technical staff on site assessments and plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue for the branch through quality customer service and understanding of rental products.
• Establish new rental accounts via phone and in-person visits.
• Present turnkey services and provide job site assessments and quotes.
• Educate customers on equipment and conduct demonstrations and trainings.
• Follow up on invoices, payments, and provide support to operations.
