Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Rep in the Power/HVAC division in Manassas, VA. You will rent and sell specialty power supply and climate control solutions, using consultative sales to understand customer needs and close opportunities.

Responsibilities include establishing new accounts, presenting turnkey services, providing site assessments and quotes, and collaborating with technical staff to size and plan projects. A base salary plus commissions is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3 years of sales experience and strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to sell complex solutions and provide excellent customer service.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Increase branch revenue through quality customer service and knowledge of specialty rental products.
• Establish new rental accounts via phone and in-person visits.
• Present turnkey services and provide job site assessments and quotes.
• Collaborate with technical staff for equipment sizing and plans.
• Educate customers on equipment and manage follow-ups on invoices.
• Provide sales activity reports using Salesforce and other tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
