Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Rep for the Power & HVAC division serving the Harrisburg area. You will be the first contact for customers, selling turnkey power and climate control solutions like silenced diesel generators and air-conditioning equipment.

You will build relationships, size projects, and write professional quotes. You will collaborate with technical staff for site assessments, educate customers, and drive revenue growth while leveraging Salesforce and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 3 years of sales experience is required.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment is preferred; strong sales acumen also considered.

Responsibilities

• Increase branch revenue through quality customer service and understanding of specialty equipment.
• Establish new rental accounts via phone calls and in-person visits.
• Present turnkey services and provide job site assessments and quotes.
• Follow up with customers on invoices and payments and report activity in Salesforce.
