Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Outside Sales Rep for the Power/HVAC division. You will attract and develop new rental accounts, present turnkey services, and size and quote projects from industrial cooling to climate control solutions.

Based near Harrisburg, PA, you will build relationships and drive revenue with strong product knowledge and consultative sales skills. This role offers base salary with monthly commissions and onboarding incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred; strong sales acumen.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue for the branch through quality customer service and understanding of specialty engineered rental products.
• Establish new rental accounts through phone calls and in-person visits to potential customers.
• Present a full range of turnkey services to potential customers.
• Work with technical staff to provide customers with job site assessments and quotes.
• Provide existing accounts with information on other products and services offered by United Rentals.
• Give formal sales presentations to customers.
• Educate customers on equipment through demonstrations and training sessions.
• Follow up with customers on invoices and payments; report sales activity.
