Job summary

United Rentals in Renton, WA seeks an Outside Sales Rep for Power & HVAC. You’ll rent and sell turnkey power and climate control solutions, with base salary plus monthly commissions, and a onboarding guarantee.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least 3 years in sales, plus knowledge of construction equipment and strong negotiation, presentation, and customer service skills. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue for the branch through quality customer service and a strong understanding of specialty equipment.
• Establish new rental accounts through phone calls and in-person visits to potential customers.
• Present a full range of turnkey services to potential customers and provide job site assessments.
• Educate customers on equipment through demonstrations and personal training sessions.
• Assist operations by following up with invoices and payments and reporting sales activity.
