Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Outside Sales Rep in the Power/HVAC division in Renton, WA. You will rent and sell turnkey power and climate control solutions, building relationships and driving revenue through consultative sales.

You’ll conduct site assessments, size and quote equipment, present services, and collaborate with technical staff to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase branch revenue through quality customer service and product knowledge.
• Establish new rental accounts via calls and in-person visits.
• Present turnkey services to potential customers.
• Provide site assessments, sizing, quotes, and plan development with technical staff.
• Educate customers on equipment and services; handle follow-up on invoices.
