Job summary
United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Outside Sales Rep in the Power/HVAC division. You will be the voice and first point of contact, renting and selling specialty engineered power supply and climate control solutions such as silenced diesel generators and air-conditioning equipment.
You will use consultative skills to understand customer needs and convert them into loyal customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of sales experience.
- Strong negotiation and selling skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication.
Responsibilities
- Increase branch revenue through quality customer service and understanding of rental products.
- Establish new rental accounts via phone and in-person visits.
- Present a full range of turnkey services to customers.
- Collaborate with technical staff for site assessments and quotes.
- Educate customers on equipment through demonstrations and training.
- Report sales activity using Salesforce and other tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
