Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent – Power to lead field operations on natural gas and thermal power projects. You will develop plans, supervise subcontractors, and drive safety, schedule and budget performance across all construction phases.

As a senior field leader, you will coordinate with engineering, commissioning, and owners, mentor field teams, enforce QA/QC, and ensure installation of major power plant systems with strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (Preferred).
• Proven track record managing major power generation projects (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures injury‑free environment on site.
• Communicates project information to owners, design team and subcontractors.
• Manages project documentation, logs, diaries and inspection notebooks.
• Oversees formwork, tools and equipment selection for self‑perform work.
• Coordinates with commissioning teams for turnover packages and testing.
