Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent – Power to lead field operations on large natural gas and thermal power projects. You will develop plans, direct activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget goals are met across all construction phases.

As a senior field leader, you will drive sequence development, engage with engineering and commissioning teams, mentor field staff, and maintain strong client and partner relationships while upholding JE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (Preferred).
• Proven track record managing major power generation projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads all safety culture activities; mentors staff and ensures injury-free environment.
• Communicates project information to owners, design team, and subcontractors.
• Manages project docs, logs, and reports; tracks progress and costs.
• Oversees self-perform work, materials, and equipment needs.
• Coordinates with commissioning teams for turnover, startup, testing.
• Leads field operations, staffing, and alignment with PM and engineering.
• Coordinates with OEMs/partners to resolve field issues and warranties.
