Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in the United States is seeking a General Superintendent – Power to lead field operations on natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency across all construction phases, coordinating with owners, design teams, and subcontractors.

As a senior field leader, you’ll shape project sequencing, manage complex power facilities, mentor teams, and ensure alignment with commissioning and engineering partners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large power generation projects from pursuit through closeout.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC and safety protocols in power facilities.
• Proven ability to manage multi-contractor, multi-shift operations on schedule‑critical job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and direct safety culture across projects.
• Coordinate with owners, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure project goals.
• Oversee procurement, formwork selection, and equipment needs for self‑perform work.
• Mentor field teams and manage relationships with OEMs and engineering partners.
• Lead project plans and ensure turnover packages with commissioning teams.
