Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Generation Project Manager to lead multi‑discipline teams delivering traditional and renewable power projects in Texas and beyond. You will manage scope, schedule and budget while maintaining client relations, performing business development and guiding senior engineers through design reviews.

Required are a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 7+ years PM experience (2+ in PM), and a PE license (TX reciprocity preferred). Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
• 7+ years of related utility-scale power project management experience, incl. at least 2 years in PM.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the licensing board; TX reciprocity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team, manage schedule and budget, coordinate with engineering disciplines.
• Provide daily leadership to project team and technical staff.
• Develop project work plan and ensure schedule, quality, and profitability goals.
• Maintain client relations and coordinate with client on deliverables and scope changes.
• Perform marketing, business development, and proposal support; review contract terms.
