Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive power generation projects as owner’s engineer or advisor. The role emphasizes client engagement, strategic bid leadership, and cross-functional team management across a national power generation practice.

Ideal candidates bring a PE license, PMP, and 10+ years in EPC projects for simple/combined cycle plants, with strong communication and business development skills to grow client relationships and project pipeline.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent; 10+ years of power generation project experience.
Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor teams.
Professional Engineer license; PMP certification preferred.
Experience managing simple cycle and combined cycle EPC projects as owner/engineer/contractor.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain positive client relationships and ensure project profitability.
Lead project teams; provide daily direction and monitor progress against schedule and budget.
Review contracts, identify risks, and support proposal development and negotiations.
Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on deliverables and status.
