Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager for the Power & Energy PMO in Tulsa, OK, with consideration for multiple locations and US-wide remote work. The role advances technical project supervision, budgeting, and schedule management in a dynamic environment.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, develop WBS, manage contracts, and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction across projects. PMP or CAP-M and 7–10 years PM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Essential project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAP-M).
• 7–10 years of relevant post-education experience in PM roles in the industry.
• Strong understanding of project delivery process in A/E/C.
• Analytical and organizational skills with business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-leadership, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross-functional teams to execute project work, including budgets, hours, expenses, and deliverables.
• Contribute to proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and estimated costs.
• Assign staff for QA/QC reviews and ensure QA/QC adherence.
• Assist with contract negotiations, presentations, and meetings.
• Prepare project documentation (PMP, QP, PSP, risk, communications).
• Provide regular client updates and manage project metrics and forecasts.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align priorities and resolve issues.
• Monitor AR, close procurements, and conduct lessons-learned sessions.
