Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Power Delivery - Project Manager to oversee high voltage substation and transmission line projects within the Power & Energy Management Team. Based in TX with remote work options, you will manage scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships across the South and Southwest US.

You will guide project teams, lead risk and QA/QC efforts, and support business development across clients including IOUs and utilities. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management or related field in Power & Energy.
• 12 years of post-education PM experience in Power Delivery/Utility.
• 5+ years leading engineering/construction teams for HV/EHV projects.
• 5+ years leading teams for medium to large electrical utility clients.
• PM processes/tools: Contract Mgmt, Meetings, Earned Value, Change, Risk, Scheduling (Primavera P6), Financials.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV/EHV substation and/or transmission projects.
• Engage stakeholders and report progress to clients.
• Lead pursuit decisions, contract reviews, risk mitigation, and pricing reviews.
• May participate in contract negotiations and client presentations.
• Oversee technical reviews and QA/QC adherence.
• Provide strategic input to clients and direct staff.
• Coordinate resources and subcontracting; manage project closeout.
