Job summary

Welty Energy is seeking a Project Manager for our Distribution (Dx) Project Management team in the United States. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and coordinating electrical substation and transmission upgrades, with a primary emphasis on low voltage engineering, design, procurement, and construction.

The position requires location flexibility to PA or VA with travel to client sites up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• PMP certification is preferred for this role.
• 6–14 years of experience in utility project management is desirable but not required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication across project lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary client contact for project status and deliverables.
• Conduct technical reviews of specifications, drawings, and contracts for constructability.
• Lead project planning and status meetings to monitor schedules and budgets.
• Provide schedule updates for engineering, construction, and budgeting to management.
• Oversee construction package reviews, field visits, and documentation coordination.
