Job summary

Welty Energy is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, design, procurement and construction for major substation and transmission upgrade projects. You will coordinate stakeholders, serve as the client liaison, and oversee schedule and budget with a focus on meeting specifications and client expectations.

The role requires 6–14 years of electric utility project management experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, strong communication and leadership skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or relevant experience in electric utility project management.
• Minimum of 6–14 years of experience in project management for the Utility sector (electric power such as Substation or Transmission).
• PMP preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as primary client liaison for your project(s).
• Conduct technical reviews of specifications, drawings, and construction documents to ensure constructability.
• Plan and lead project meetings to ensure schedule and budget adherence.
• Provide schedule updates for engineering, construction, and budget status to management.
• Oversee construction package reviews and field visits.
