Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Power Delivery - Project Manager to lead high voltage and EHV substation and transmission line projects. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and KPIs, while developing client relationships and marketing WSP’s Power Delivery services to customers in the South and Southwest region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 12 years of post-education experience in a project management role within Power Delivery/Utility.
• Minimum of 5 years leading engineering/construction teams on HV/EHV substation or transmission line projects.
• Knowledge of PM processes and tools: Contract Management, Meetings, Earned Value, Change, Risk, Schedule (Primavera P6), Financial Management.
• Strong communication and leadership, ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for high voltage and EHV substation and/or transmission line projects, managing budgets, schedules, and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, reporting progress and risks.
• Lead pursuit/initiation activities including Go/No-Go decisions and contract reviews.
• May participate in contract negotiations and client presentations.
• Direct staff and ensure QA/QC adherence across projects.
• Contribute to high-level strategic guidance for clients and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Maintain documentation (risk, PMP, QP, PSP, communications plan) and lead kickoff meetings.
• Coordinate resource and subcontracting needs and maintain regular client communications.
• Oversee project closeout, lessons-learned, and continuous improvement.
