Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee production line operations and department personnel, ensuring adherence to HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, and USDA/OSHA regulations while driving productivity and meeting customer specifications. Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in manufacturing; poultry industry preferred.
• One year leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA, GMP and HACCP.
• English communication skills required; multi-language helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department to meet schedules and budgets.
• Rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports are accurately completed (attendance, yields, etc).
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
• Lead/process improvements; monitor metrics and trends.
• Partner with QA to ensure food safety and USDA compliance.
• Mentor and train employees; provide consistent feedback.
• Administer performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
• Follow safety initiatives and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet goals.
• Learn and adhere to Union contracts if applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
