Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a manufacturing setting; three years in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence and conflict resolution; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production line/department personnel to follow HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA rules.
• Establish procedures, adjust to meet production schedules, and pursue efficiency and budget goals.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to maximize productivity and ergonomics.
• Ensure accurate daily reporting of attendance, yields, and departmental metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reduce repeat deficiencies.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain food safety and sanitary standards.
• Mentor, coach and train staff; administer performance improvement plans as needed.
• Enforce safety initiatives and PPE requirements; maintain a zero-accident culture.
• Lead or participate in cross-departmental projects and shifts as required.
