Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee a production line and up to 100 employees. You will ensure procedures align with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA regulations while driving productivity and meeting customer specs.

Responsibilities include staffing, performance management, safety enforcement, and collaboration with Quality Assurance to sustain a food-safe environment. Strong English communication and leadership are essential for success in a fast-paced plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience within a manufacturing setting.
• Three years’ experience in food manufacturing or poultry industry preferred.
• Demonstrated one year’s leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence, conflict resolution.
• Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMP and HACCP.
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written); multilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports and records are accurately completed (attendance, yields, etc.).
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce repeat deficiencies.
• Lead process improvements and monitor metrics; respond to unfavorable trends.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain USDA-compliant sanitary environment.
• Mentor, coach, and cross-train staff; provide constructive feedback.
• Enforce safety initiatives and PPE use; aim for zero-accident culture.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet location goals.
• Understand and adhere to any Union contract in place.
