Job summary

Morton Buildings is seeking construction crews to join our employee-owners team. The role offers a base hourly rate of $22.00 to $24.00, paid weekly, with a $2,000 first-year bonus and an additional $500 bonus every quarter during the first year.

Position requires 30% travel, reading and building from plans, operating various tools, and safely constructing post-frame buildings across multiple sites. Equal opportunity employer with ESOP available.

Qualifications

• Construction experience in post-frame, carpentry or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in training programs.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Ability to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maksimum 100 pounds.
• Requires 30% travel, possibly overnight for up to two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Dig and install footings, frame walls/roofs, install windows/doors, and apply siding/roofing materials.
• Work with crew in a safe, productive environment.
