Job summary

Morton Buildings Inc. is expanding our construction crews and employee owners. Earn $23.00–$25.00 per hour with weekly pay and an added $2,000 bonus in the first year, plus $500 quarterly bonuses during the first year.

Benefits include ESOP, comprehensive medical coverage, and a strong commitment to safety. Positions require 9–10 hour days during peak season, up to 20% travel (overnight trips possible), and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights up to 40 feet.

Qualifications

• Post-frame construction or framing experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Able to work 9–10 hours during peak construction season.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and working at various heights.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (overnight trips possible).
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Follow safety procedures and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of the crew foreman, learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and procedures.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Perform footing digging, framing walls/roofs, installing doors/windows, and siding/ roofing tasks.
• Collaborate with crew to maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
