Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews and employee owners, continuing a 120-year tradition of post-frame construction across the nation.

Earn a base hourly wage of $21.00–$23.00, with an additional $2000 first-year bonus and a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year, plus ESOP and comprehensive benefits. The role requires reading blueprints, using varied tools, and maintaining safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Carpentry experience or framing preferred
• Read and interpret construction plans
• Ability to operate construction tools safely
• Willingness to participate in training program
• Valid driver's license preferred; Class A CDL highly desired
• Ability to work 9–10 hours during peak season
• Ability to lift 50 pounds (occasional up to 100)
• Good written and verbal communication
• Occasional to extended travel (up to 2 weeks)

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings
• Dig and install footings, frame walls/roofs, install windows/doors and various siding/roofing materials
• Work with crew to maintain a safe, organized, productive environment
