Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews and employee owners. You will learn and apply safety procedures, read and build to construction plans, and use a variety of tools to erect post-frame buildings.

This position offers hourly pay of $22.00 to $24.00, weekly payroll, and a $2,000 first-year bonus plus a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year. Travel up to 30% is required. Benefits include ESOP, life insurance, training bonus, paid holidays/vacation/personal time, and

Qualifications

• Building construction experience preferred (on the job or in school).
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Ability to read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Capable of lifting 50–100 pounds and working at heights up to 40 feet.
• 30% travel required, including overnight trips up to two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Learn, keep current with and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize various tools and equipment to safely and efficiently construct buildings.
• Efficiently execute tasks such as digging footings, framing, installing doors/windows, and finishing with siding/roofs.
• Work with crew members in a safe, organized, and respectful environment.
