Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews. Earn $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, paid weekly, with a $2,000 first-year bonus and a $500 quarterly retention bonus. ESOP, life insurance, and safety incentives are part of the package. Travel up to 20% with overnight stays possible.

Under the guidance of your crew foreman, you will learn and apply safety and construction processes, read plans, and build according to specs while working with various materials and equipment.

Qualifications

• Construction experience in post-frame, carpentry or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in training programs.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Able to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Capable of lifting 50 lb with occasional up to 100 lb.
• Able to travel up to 20% with possible overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Use tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Framing walls and roofs; install windows, doors, siding and roofing materials.
• Collaborate with crew members in a safe, productive work environment.
