Job summary

Morton Buildings is seeking new crew members to join our construction teams. Earn $23.00 to $25.00 per hour with weekly pay, plus bonuses and an ESOP.

You will work under a crew foreman, read plans, and build post-frame structures across various sites with travel up to 10% and occasional overnight assignments. Benefits include a quarterly retention bonus, safety incentives, life insurance, and training bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction, post-frame work, carpentry or framing preferred (on the job or in school).
• Willingness to participate in training programs.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Able to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Capable of physically demanding work and heights up to 40 feet.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Use tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Dig and install footings, frame walls/roofs, install windows and doors, and apply siding/roofing materials.
• Work collaboratively with crew to maintain a safe, productive environment.
