Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews. You will help construct post-frame buildings under the guidance of a crew foreman, earning $22.00 to $24.00 per hour with weekly pay. New hires may receive a $500 quarterly bonus in their first year and a $2,000 sign-on-esque bonus. ESOP participation and safety training are included.

Expect 9–10 hour workdays in peak season, occasional travel up to 40 feet high, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction, carpentry, or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Learn, keep current with safety and construction procedures, methods and standards.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Perform tasks like digging footings, framing walls, installing doors/windows, siding and roofing materials.
• Work with crew in a safe, organized, productive environment.
