Job summary

Morton Buildings Inc. is expanding our construction crews and employee owners. As a crew member you will learn and apply our safety standards, read and build from plans, and operate various tools to construct post-frame buildings.

The role includes up to 15% travel, a pay rate of $23.00–$25.00 per hour with weekly pay, and a first-year bonus structure totaling up to $2,000 plus $500 quarterly bonuses. Comprehensive benefits and ESOP are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction, carpentry or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Able to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with occasional 100 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% with possible overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton procedures and safety standards.
• Read, understand and build from construction plans.
• Operate tools and equipment to construct buildings safely.
• Execute tasks including footing, framing, windows, doors, siding and roofing.
• Work with crew in a safe, productive environment respecting others.
