Job summary

Saab, Inc. seeks a Post-Delivery Program Manager to oversee sustainment for DoD customers, coordinating with program leadership, customers, and Saab teams through the lifecycle of fielded systems.

You’ll apply project management to resolve customer support challenges and ensure performance objectives, emphasizing quality, risk mitigation and continuous improvement. Travel up to 15% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, or related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience in a collaborative team environment and in Project Management.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including Word, Visio, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills; able to follow up promptly.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment; focus on quality and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary post-delivery contact coordinating with leadership, customers and Saab teams.
• Provide leadership and oversight of depot and customer support activities.
• Manage orders, quotes, and task orders with customers.
• Coordinate spares, repairs, and service contracts for integration and field support.
• Plan service events and ensure parts availability; support field technicians.
• Track delivery performance and key program metrics across sustainment activities.
• Contribute to revenue forecasts and order projections in financial planning cycles.
• Communicate findings from RCCA analyses to customers and mitigate inventory risks.
• Ensure smooth handovers with Production Program Managers and conduct PMRs.
