Job summary

Techify Care, Inc. seeks an End User Support technician to perform on-site POS device installation, deinstallation and configuration at client stores in California. You will coordinate with store staff, ensure proper cabling, and validate device functionality through testing and sign-off.

Responsibilities include hardware setup, software/firmware updates, documentation of outcomes, and maintaining a clean, professional on-site presence during engagements.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Manager on Duty on arrival at the site.
• Review and confirm the assigned work order for installation.
• Locate the equipment, POS terminal, and lane(s) assigned for installation.
• Safely remove existing/legacy POS device and cables, following procedures.
• Install the new POS device (P630/M425) and required cables with correct connections.
• Enter network parameters and pair/configure the POS device per client specifications.
• Monitor downloads and reboots, verify device startup and operation after configuration.
• Coordinate with Branch/Store Manager for testing and complete test transactions.
• Obtain sign-off on work order, clean area, document issues, and complete checkout with client/MOD.
