Stand8 Technology Consulting seeks a POS Technician for a one-year contract, onsite in Long Beach, CA. The role covers configuring and decommissioning ~37 POS devices, managing user access, and troubleshooting hardware, connectivity, battery, and application issues.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and decommissioning POS devices.
• Ability to administer user access for POS devices and apps.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for hardware, connectivity and power issues.
• Experience supporting device migrations and replacements.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support ~37 POS devices across seven departments.
• Decommission legacy POS devices as they are replaced.
• Manage user access for POS devices and related apps.
• Troubleshoot device errors, network connectivity, battery, and app issues.
• Escalate incidents and track resolution with the appropriate channel.
• Support the web-based POS management and invoicing applications.
• Coordinate with IT and vendors for device-related queries.
